Build the internal tools your team actually needs — without code.

Move the trackers out of spreadsheets and into structured tables, hand the busywork to visual workflows, and pin the result as an app — right next to the chat and tasks it serves.

Manifesto

Your operations don't live in a system. They live in seventeen spreadsheets.

Every company runs on a hidden layer of trackers — the hiring sheet, the inventory sheet, the CRM export someone refreshes on Fridays — held together by copy-paste and the one person who understands the formulas. Polybase gives that layer a real home: Tables for the data, Workflows for the handoffs, and App Studio to wrap it all into an app your team opens like any other tab.

Before · After

From spreadsheet sprawl to a pinned app.

The tracker sprawl
  • The master spreadsheet
One tab per team, formulas nobody dares touch, and a version history made of filenames.
  • Copy-paste pipelines
Rows moved between tools by hand — every Friday, by whoever remembers.
  • A tool bought for one feature
Another subscription, another login, another admin — for a single form.
  • Status as a meeting
The only way to know what's current is to ask in chat and wait.
With Polybase
  • Tables with real types
16 column types with validation, plus server-side formulas, lookups and rollups that don't break when someone sorts.
  • Eleven views, one table
Grid, kanban, calendar, Gantt, chart and more — the same rows, rendered for each team.
  • Workflows for the busywork
A visual canvas with branching, loops, delays and an AI step — triggered by tasks, messages, table rows, email or a schedule.
  • An app pinned as a tab
Dashboards, record pages and forms grouped into an app that sits in the channel next to Chat and Tasks.
Why it holds

Structure, automation, and a front door.

(01)

Structured, not fragile

Typed columns, validation rules and computed fields live server-side, so the tracker survives its busiest week.

(02)

Automated where it's boring

13+ trigger types feed flows that branch, loop and call an AI step — with a dry run before anything goes live.

(03)

Shipped like a product

App Studio turns tables into dashboards, record pages and intake forms — pinned to the tab bar, no deploys, no separate logins.

The toolkit

What no-code means here.

16
Column types
From text and dates to relations, ratings and people — with validation at the door.
11
Views per table
Grid, kanban, calendar, timeline, Gantt, chart, map and more.
13+
Trigger types
Tasks, messages, table rows, email, webhooks and schedules can all start a flow.
0
Deploys
Apps are pinned as channel tabs the moment you save — no releases, no hosting.
How it works

One spreadsheet to one app, in four moves.

  1. 01

    Import the spreadsheet

Drop in an Excel or CSV file. Column types are inferred automatically, and any view exports back to CSV — no lock-in.

  2. 02

    Model the process

Link records across tables and let formulas, lookups and rollups do the busy math server-side.

  3. 03

    Automate the handoffs

Build flows on the visual canvas: when a row is created, a task changes status or an email lands, the flow routes, notifies or asks the AI step to summarize.

  4. 04

    Pin it as an app

Compose dashboards, record pages and forms into an app, and pin it to the channel's tab bar where the team already works.

FAQ

About building without code.

For Tables, Workflows and App Studio — no. Everything is visual, from column types to flow logic to page blocks. When engineers do want to plug in, webhook triggers and the REST API are there.

Studio is a paid add-on at €20 per user/month on top of the Core workspace. You switch it on per workspace and can add or remove it at any time.

They become the starting point. Import Excel or CSV and column types are inferred; if you ever want out, every view exports back to CSV.

Next step

Bring us your worst spreadsheet.

In a 30-minute session we'll take one real tracker from your team and rebuild it live — as a table, a workflow and an app pinned to the channel where the work already happens.
